Thomas FidlerAviation Scholarship Recipient Completed the Aviation Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics program (A & P program) in Sept. 2015. He successfully passed all of his FAA exams the same month and is now a licensed A & P Mechanic. Receiving the foundation scholarship allowed me to focus more on my studies. It helped me finish the A & P program on time. I am so proud of what I have accomplished, and I hope one day to be able to contribute to the foundation so I can help pay it forward! |

Joy SimmonsNursing LPN Scholarship Recipient While enrolled in the program, Joy battled some very serious health issues and was still was able to finish the program on time. She is so grateful that her children were able to see her finish her dream in spite of so many challenges. She loves nursing and can’t see herself doing anything else. Getting the foundation scholarship was amazing. I am a single parent raising three children and could have never been able to enroll without financial help. Becoming a nurse has always been a dream. |

Jesus SalazarElectrical Scholarship Recipient Born in Mexico, Jesus moved to the US in 2001. His dream was to support himself and help his family.
He had several relatives in Mexico that were electricians. He originally applied to the program but could
not afford to enroll. Receiving the foundation scholarship allowed him to enroll. |

Jared SnowWelding Scholarship Recipient Jared started at Haney part-time during his senior year. He is a graduate of Rutherford High School. Receiving the foundation scholarship allowed him to enroll as a student to complete the program. His uncle was a welder and that has always been his dream. He is excelling in the welding program, and he medaled in SkillsUSA competitions in 2016. |

Dominic JohnsonWelding Scholarship Recipient Originally from Georgia, Dominic started welding in high school. He graduated from Mosley High School in May of 2015 and is on track to finish Haney in June 2016. He is the youngest of three children in his family, so receiving the foundation scholarship helped him out tremendously. He is excited to graduate and is willing to travel for the right welding career. |
